Real projects with real results. Choose a project to fund, or run your own fundraiser for FBA.
FBA is run by volunteers, so your money goes to the learners. Donations may qualify for a Section 18A tax certificate and B-BBEE points.
No learner should miss school because of her period. Volunteers donate sanitary towels during school visits, such as 150 packs at Etwatwa Secondary School in January 2025, and on Women’s Day 2025 chapters walked a Hike for Purpose to raise awareness.
Fund sanitary towels for a schoolEach year volunteers help Grade 12 learners apply to universities, colleges and for funding. Partners such as AHRI and SANTHE have supported these drives. Your gift covers transport, data and application support.
Sponsor an application driveIn August 2025 FBA hosted 350 matric learners from Gauteng and Limpopo at Wits for a career fair and bursary roadshow. Sponsors make these days possible.
Sponsor a career fairChapters celebrate top students and leaders at events like the UJ FBA Academic Gala Dinner and the FBA Academic and Leadership Luncheon. Sponsorship keeps these events free for students.
Sponsor an awardFBA aims to raise R10 million by 2032 to impact 10 million people. Every donation, large or small, counts towards this goal.
Give to Vision 2032Run a hike, a games night, a sports day or a dinner in support of FBA. Tell us about your idea and we will help you plan it and share it with our community.
